  • Exam 1 Practice Problems

Exam 1 is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 27. Here is a list of problems from the textbook that would be useful in preparing for the exam:
    Ch. 2: 21, 24, 43, 46, 65, 66, 67, 69, 85, 89
    Ch. 3: 3, 9, 40, 55, 70, 77, 119, 124, and Sample Problem 3.10 on p.145
The answers for these problems can be found in the back of the textbook.

Also, someone asked after today's class about the format of the test. The test will be 3-4 problems similar to homework problems and example problems solved in class. Reviewing all homework problems, example problems, and practice problems would be good preparation for the exam. Also, there may be 1-2 short answer/definition questions related to the concepts presented in class.
