  • Please take a few minutes and complete this survey. Completing the survey enters you in a drawing for a 3D printer or $100 gift certificates, and it also helps out our own Innovation and Collaboration Studio.

  • TN-SCORE, a state-wide National Science Foundation EPSCoR Program is offering summer research opportunities for Tennessee students interested in renewable energy research. The TN-SCORE Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program lasts between 8-10 weeks. Summer 2015 host institutions are the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Vanderbilt University. Students will receive a $5,000 stipend and campus housing will be provided. For more information and to apply, students can visit the TN-SCORE website, http://www.tnepscor.org/programs/reu.aspx. Application deadline is March 1, 2015.

  • The WomEngineers Day Conference is a one-day mini-conference where today's top engineers present their expertise on professional and personal topics not found in the classroom. The conference will be held on April 11th, 2015 at the Knoxville Convention Center. Registration is free. To learn more about WomEngineer's Day, visit the conference website (http://womengineersday.com/). Attending this conference can count towards SEEC extra credit for both EF 151 and EF 152.

  • Medical School Admission Information
    • Jennifer Kimble, the director of admissions at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine will be visiting our campus to talk with interested pre-med students about the opportunities at Vanderbilt University. Ms. Kimble will provide information about the admissions process, the competitive applicant, the medical school curriculum, and life in Nashville for a pre-med student. Tuesday, February 10, 6:30 pm, HSS 60.
    • The annual AMCAS Application Workshop sponsored by Arts & Sciences Advising Services and brought to you by admissions personnel at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, HSS 123.
