    - a free professional engineering conference (not technical - all professional/personal topics not found in the classroom)
    - a rare opportunity to hear from presidents/VPs of engineering companies, successful UT alumni, and other highly regarded experts

  • Medical School Admission Information
    • Jennifer Kimble, the director of admissions at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine will be visiting our campus to talk with interested pre-med students about the opportunities at Vanderbilt University. Ms. Kimble will provide information about the admissions process, the competitive applicant, the medical school curriculum, and life in Nashville for a pre-med student. Tuesday, February 10, 6:30 pm, HSS 60.
    • The annual AMCAS Application Workshop sponsored by Arts & Sciences Advising Services and brought to you by admissions personnel at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, HSS 123.

  • ASHRAE Student Society Meeting
    The student chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) will be hosting a guest speaker on Tuesday, March 31st at HSS room 69 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We will be hosting David McCauley, a representative of United Testing and Balancing, Inc. (UTAB) - an independent Test and Balance agency based in Nashville, TN. UTAB provides services such as duct leakage testing, sound and vibration testing, and air and water balancing.

    Also, UTAB will be offering a special internship opportunity specifically for freshmen engineering students only through the ASHRAE Student Group! David McCauley is the hiring engineer for this position.

    We will also be ordering Free Stefano's Pizza for the meeting. Please RSVP to Trey Twickler at wtwickle@vols.utk.edu if you would like to have pizza at the meeting.
